Post Bug When use xplico as Realtime
I changed XPL_DIS_IP_CHECKSUM field from 0 to 1 and reinstalled all.

Now when I run below command, xplico did not generate anything.

Code:
xplico -m rltm -i eth1

I expect xplico to capture and decode traffics as realtime and create a tmp folder and put decoded traffics in tmp folder subdirectories.

Did you reinstalled or did you recompiled? It is necessary to recompile it again.
After that, you'll find the decoded traffic in the default directory: ./tmp/xplico
(or other if you have changed it, in configuration/xplico.cfg).

There is not any problem related to compiling and installing.

Problem is in xplico.cfg file.

Can anyone send me a xplico.cfg file that contains correct configurations? Please post this file as attachment here. If you send all configuration files that xplico use, It is better.

Thank you for helping.

Hi
attached you have the file, with this Xplico works for me, and i haven't touched it never, it is as it cames out-of-the-box.

- Have you checked eth1 has traffic?
- Have you tried in another computer or with another interface(eth0)?
- Has the file "xplico/tmp/xplic_20091010.log" information of received packets ?

Carlos.

Hello,
i think in both files the tmp dir is specified (at the last line). Please, check that:
- The path in MODULES_DIR=/opt/xplico/bin/modules is correct
- try changing "DISPATCH=disp_lite.so LOG=FEWITDS" to "DISPATCH=disp_none.so LOG=FEWITDS", or if is doesn't work, try the reverse.

These are the only differences i can see in both xplico.cfg.
