Post error: invalid 'asm': invalid operand for code 'w'
Hello,

I receive the following error on this platform: RN_ARM.1 #1 Tue Jan 21 11:30:24 PST 2014 armv7l GNU/Linux

ip.c: In function ‘IpDissector’:
ip.c:156:2: warning: #warning we have to be implement the fragment ip [-Wcpp]
ip.c: In function ‘ip_fast_csum’:
ip.c:68:2: error: invalid 'asm': invalid operand for code 'w'
ip.c:68:2: error: invalid 'asm': invalid operand for code 'w'

I saw a posting regarding the same issue.
Is there a way to recompile the source so it can be used on a arm platform?
Or is there a workarround

Rgds,

John

Hi,
I suppose that you don't cross-compile for ARM.
To fix your problem you must comment the line where there is "DXPL_X86" in the Makefile file.

Ciao.
