Post Auto-purge old data
I'm doing live capture. After a while, my hard drive fills up - obviously.

Is there a way to automatically purge older data so that I can keep say 2 days and nuke the oldest stuff?

Hi etiennel,
there is not an (automatic) easy way.
You can create a script and use a "session" to collect data and delete it after some time, for exampe a session per day. But to do this you must know (hack) how WUI is interfaced with DEMA.

Ciao.

What would be the downside if I had a cron job deleting old files from the /pol_x/sol_x directory?

Also, I read somewhere you can use mysql with this but I could not find the data on where to configure this - what I saw was referring to earlier versions or something so I wasn't sure if it was the same. Because then I could also remove old entries from the database as well as the files.
